2 drug pushers busted in Quezon hotel
LUCENA CITY – Police collared two suspected drug pushers conducting their illegal activities inside a hotel here on Tuesday night.
Combined anti-illegal operatives from the Quezon police headquarters and local police, arrested Venancio Galinada and Kent Julius Regodon, after they sold shabu (crystal meth) to a police agent inside a hotel in Barangay Isabang around 6 p.m., Supt. Romulo Albacea, Lucena police chief, said in a report.
Authorities seized six plastic sachets of shabu weighing 13.75 grams and worth P61,875 in the street market.
According to a police agent who was involved in the operation, the suspects have long been using hotels and inns as the base of their drug distribution.
According to the undercover police, former drug clients who recently surrendered tipped off the drug pushing mode of the suspects.
The suspects were detained at the city police jail.
