Right-hand-drive cars seized

FIVE right-hand-drive vehicles were seized from a warehouse in barangay Mactan, Lapu-Lapu City.

The warehouse owner, Pakistani national Muhammad Irfan, was not around when members of the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group in Central Visayas (CIDG-7) conducted the raid.

Irfan will still be charged for violation of Republic Act 8506, which bans the registration and operation of right-hand-drive vehicles.

The raid was based on the search warrant issued by Regional Trial Court (RTC) Judge Marilyn Yap.
