LEGAZPI CITY — A 57-year-old man died after being electrocuted while checking his shop on a flooded street in Naga City in Camarines Sur on Sunday night.

The Naga City police reported that Juancho was electrocuted in his shop that was flooded in Barangay Concepcion Pequeña at 8:20 p.m.

He was rushed to a hospital but was declared dead.

Mayor Nelson Legacion said the power supply was cut off in the city after the incident.

Many residents were also evacuated from flooded villages due to heavy rains from Tropical Storm Enteng.

The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration Southern Luzon said at 8 a.m. on Monday that a yellow rainfall warning was still up in the province, which means flooding was still expected in low-lying areas. INQ
