Water supply interruption set in parts of QC, Rizal on August 27-30

 

MANILA, Philippines — Water supply cuts will affect some areas in Rizal and Quezon City from August 27 to 30 due to scheduled maintenance activities, the Manila Water Company announced.

In a Facebook post on Thursday evening, affected residents in the following areas were advised to store water ahead of the scheduled supply interruption.  

August 27, 10 p.m. to August 28, 4 a.m.

Taytay, Rizal

Due to line maintenance along L. Wood Street, Barangay San Isidro

Due to line meter replacement at Primavera Subdivision, Barangay San Luis, Bermuda Heights Subdivision, Barangay San Luis, Saarland Subdivision, Barangay San Isidro

August 28, 10 p.m. to August 29, 4 a.m.

Taytay, Rizal

Due to line maintenance along Victoria Avenue, San Juan

Binangonan, Rizal

Due to valve maintenance at the Mabuhay Pumping Station

Cainta, Rizal

Due to line maintenance along Victoria Avenue, San Juan

August 28, 10 p.m. to August 29, 5 a.m.

Due to line meter replacement at Villa Cristina and Saidi Taktak Road, Barangay Dela Paz

August 29, 10 p.m. to August 30, 4 a.m.

Antipolo, Rizal

Due to line meter replacement at Avida Subdivision, Barangay Dalig and Villa Consolacion, Barangay San Jose

Quezon City

Due to line replacement at Congressional Avenue corner Jupiter Street

Manila Water advised affected residents that once water service is restored, they should let the water flow out of their taps for a few minutes until the water becomes clear.
