MANILA, Philippines–The city government of Taguig announced the launch of a road assistance program for motorists.

According to the Taguig city government on Tuesday (July 2), the program, named Roadside Emergency Assistance in the City of Taguig, seeks to help motorists whose vehicles would malfunction in the city.

The program will offer various services, including towing, replacement of tires, repairs, and battery jumpstarts, among others, for people whose vehicles would stall on the city’s roads because of engine or other problems.

The services will be available from 6:00 am to midnight on C6 Road, C5 Road, General Santos Avenue, DOST Area, and Cayetano Boulevard.

To avail themselves of the services, motorists may call the city government’s command center hotline at (02) 8789-3200 or the traffic management office at (02) 8640-7006, (0929) 631 5924, and (0929) 631 5740 for Smart users; and (0977) 311 6359 and (0945) 113 6059 for Globe users.

Those needing road assistance may also send a message to the Traffic Management Office – City of Taguig, the city government added.
