Concert buddy turns into fiancé as he proposes to GF at All Time Low concert

A Hustler, the fandom name of All Time Low (ATL), made the American rock band’s “Forever” tour in Manila memorable when he proposed to his girlfriend while attending their favorite group’s show at the Araneta Coliseum last May 3.
On Facebook, Jom Hilapo, 25, of Las Piñas City, took a trip down memory lane with his fellow Hustler Kamille Vidallo and announced their engagement after over a year of being together starting when they met while also attending a concert of ATL, which he described as “a band that we love the most.”
Hilapo told INQUIRER.net that he decided to propose during ATL’s concert since they got to know each other also at the band’s concert back in August 2022.
“All Time Low is very special to us because that’s where we met, or like they are the reason why we met. It is our go-to song when we’re together, on a sound trip on the ride home, or hanging out at our house,” Hilapo said.
Further, Hilapo recounted how nerve-wracking the proposal was because he is the “shy type” and is basically an introvert, but he managed to step out of his comfort zone to express his genuine love for her.
“[I proposed during the concert to show] how much I love her that I’m willing to do it in front of thousands of people, to prove to her that I’m very serious with her and that I want to spend the rest of my life with her,” Hilapo expressed.
The couple plans to wed by October next year, the same month they became romantic partners in 2022.
