Theft, vandalism of tombs shock town

Eight boys have been accused of destroying 50 tombs and stealing items from the dead in the cemetery here. The tomb raiding and vandalism have never been encountered here or elsewhere and have outraged the community.

De Lima: No to amendments to juvenile justice law

A House bill seeking to amend the Juvenile Justice and Welfare Act of 2006 and lowers the age of criminal liability can expect no support from the Juvenile Welfare Justice Council, Justice Secretary Leila de Lima said on Thursday.
