Palparan’s flight means guilt–DOJ

Flight means guilt and retired Army Maj. Gen. Jovito Palparan’s lamming it for three years means he has responsibility for the disappearance of University of the Philippines students Karen Empeño and Sherlyn Cadapan, a state prosecutor said on Tuesday after the capture of one of the Philippines’ most-wanted fugitives.

No justice until Palparan confesses, says mother of abducted UP student

“There’s no justice until he admits he abducted my daughter and killed her,” said Erlinda Cadapan, mother of University of the Philippines student Sherlyn Cadapan who was allegedly kidnapped by soldiers under the command of Army Maj. Gen. Jovito Palparan, who was captured in Manila early Tuesday.
