MANILA, Philippines—Little known Philippine Green Republican Party (PGRP) joined the presidential elections, proclaiming as its standard-bearer Felix Cabrera Cantal, at the ballroom of the Hotel Rembrandt in Quezon City.
Cantal, a Cebuano, was the party’s founding chair, according to a press statement.
PGRP leaders said Cantal rose from rags to riches through hard work.
