The Society of the Divine Word-Philippine Central Province will present the ?Seven Last Words 2010? on Good Friday at the Shrine of the Divine Word inside Christ the King Mission Seminary Compound on E. Rodriguez Sr. Avenue, New Manila, Quezon City.
The program, produced by the Mission Communications Foundations Inc., will be aired live on ABS-CBN Channel 2 from 12 noon to 3 p.m.
The annual Lenten program focuses on the Seven Last Words of Jesus before dying on the Cross.
The program features SVD priests as preachers, lay people as sharers and guest singers who will provide inspirational numbers.
This year?s SVD preachers are: Fr. Rudy Horst, columnist of Kerygma magazine and theology professor of CKMS and Mary Hill School of Theology; Fr. Ferdinand Bajao, a newly ordained priest assigned in the Philippines; Fr. Titus Mananzan, rector of the Divine Word Shrine; Fr. Bobby Ebisa, director of Radio Veritas-Asia; Fr. Jerry Orbos, director of the SVD Mission Philippines; Fr. Louie Punzalan of the University of San Carlos in Cebu City; and Fr. Jerome Marquez, director of St. Jude Catholic School, Manila.
The lay sharers who will speak from their spiritual experiences on the Seven Last Words are Maricel Apatan, Louie Nolasco, MK Guano of Singles for Christ, Margarette Babol from Hospicio de San Jose, Tony and Jecks Loveria of St. Andrew Marriage Encounter Community, Alvin Barcelon of TV Maria and Emma Garcia from Mater Dei ME Community.
