ASIAN HOSPITAL AND Medical Center, and not Malacañang, asked for an investigation into the leak about President Gloria’s health, according to the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI).
The NBI thinks the reading public has a low IQ and would believe everything it says.
With a “yes man” like Nestor Mantaring at the helm of the supposedly premier law enforcement agency, it’s not hard to see why the NBI has that mentality.

Since when has a leak about the President’s breast augmentation operation and a lump in her groin become a national security threat?
Why is the NBI making life miserable for some doctors and nurses at Asian Hospital?
The info leak is not a threat to the security of the state, but to the vanity of President Gloria.
Asian Hospital was where GMA reportedly had her breast implants checked.
The President was apparently angered by the information leak and ordered the NBI to investigate doctors and nurses at the hospital.
GMA and the NBI are barking up the wrong tree. Nobody at Asian Hospital ever leaked out information about the President’s medical record.
Hasn’t it occurred to the President that one of her close aides could have leaked the information to columnist Jarius Bondoc?
Bondoc said the info came from a Malacañang insider.
Now, back to the NBI.
At no time in the history of the proud bureau has it plunged into the abyss of disrepute.
“Nababoy (degraded),” as an agent describes the state of affairs at the NBI.
The NBI has become the personal property of Gloria and Mike Arroyo, its members becoming robots of the First Couple.
The bureau, composed of lawyers and accountants for its line agents, now goes after personal enemies and critics of the Arroyos.
Radio-TV personality Ted Failon, a staunch critic of the Arroyos, had a taste of their brand of vengeance; they had the NBI investigate his wife’s death.
Fortunately for Failon, certain morally upright NBI officials didn’t obey orders from Malacañang to persecute him and ruled his wife’s death was a suicide.
There was no way but for Mantaring to adopt the findings of his morally upright subordinates.

Rightist and leftist bombers—meaning government and communist, respectively—plant bombs in places where they can cause great damage to property but with minimal or zero loss to lives.
On the other hand, Moro separatists and extremists don’t care about killing innocent civilians in great numbers.
The bigger the death toll, the better for their image of ferocity.
So, the bombs that exploded or were planted in Metro Manila were the handiwork of rightists out to create chaos to justify radical government moves.
In Mindanao, there’s no doubt the bombings were done by Moro separatists or extremists.
