MANILA, Philippines ? The Department of Justice (DoJ) has ordered the Bureau of Immigration to include in its watchlist more members of the Ampatuan?s political clan due to their connection to the Maguindanao massacre.

Ordered placed in its watchlist are Datu Ulo Ampatuan, Tony Kenis Ampatuan, police auxillary of Shariff Aguak, and Datu Kanor Ampatuan, Vice Mayor of Salibo, Maguindanao.

Other names to be included in the watchlist are those of Esmail Canapia, Takipan Dilun, Datu Abdullah Sangki, Muhammad Sangki, Tammy Masukat, Tumi Timba Abas, and Police Officer 1 Abbey Guiadem.

Earlier placed in the watchlist were the clan?s patriarch and
Maguindanao Governor Datu Andal U. Ampatuan Sr.; Datu
Unsay Mayor Datu Andal U. Ampatuan Jr; ARMM Regional Governor Zaldy U. Ampatuan; Nords Ampatuan, Akmad
Ampatuan Sr.; Akmad Ampatuan Jr; Saudi Ampatuan Jr.; Bahnarian Ampatuan, and Sajid Islam Ampatuan.

Datu Unsay Mayor Ampatuan Jr. is the primary suspect in the abduction and massacre of more than 60 people, including the immediate family and relatives of Buluan Vice Mayor Esmael Mangundadatu, and several media men.

Meanwhile, Justice Secretary Agnes Devanadera said the complaint filed by the police on Wednesday would be evaluated by the DoJ panel of investigators before a subpoena was issued.

On the other hand, Canapia and Dilun will undergo preliminary
investigation for illegal possession of firearms after the authorities confiscated M-16 rifles from them.

Assistant Chief State Prosecutor Richard Anthony Fadullon said
ballistic exam showed that the confiscated firearms matched with those used in the massacre.

The two has until Dec. 14 to submit their counter affidavit.

President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo has already declared a State of Emergency in Maguindanao, Sultan Kudarat and Cotabato City in response to the said incident.

?We are appalled by the shocking disregard for human life that was shown on the Maguindanao massacre, and we want to help to avoid any delay in the investigations,? Libanan stated.

Libanan said that the names would remain in the watchlist for a period of 60 days unless sooner terminated or extended.

Libanan also directed Ferdinand Sampol, chief of the airport operations division and immigration supervisors at the Ninoy Aquino International Airports, Diosdado Macapagal International Airport Laoag International Aiport, Mactan International Airport and Davao International Aiport, to implement the order against the Ampatuans immediately.

Reportedly, Mangundadatu?s family and their convoy were on the way to file his certificate of candidacy for the gubernatorial post when the incident took place morning of November 23.
