The Philippine National Police (PNP) has filed before the Department of Justice (DOJ) a criminal case against two of its men arrested last Tuesday for alleged extortion of bus and van drivers at an illegal terminal in Pasay City.

Police Officer 2 Jerry Jubail and Police Officer 1 Michael Domalanta, both of Malibay Police Community Precinct (PCP), were brought to the DOJ for inquest proceedings.

The two are facing a complaint for robbery-extortion under Article 294 of the Revised Penal Code by arresting officers from the Philippine National Police-Counter-intelligence Task Force (CITF).
