Armenta was found bloodied and lifeless in front of the Automatic Tubig Machine shop at the corner of Empire St. and Payatas Rd. in Barangay Payatas B at around 2:40 a.m. Monday.

Police said no one has come forward to recount the circumstances behind the shooting.

Monsalve, however, noted that Armenta had injuries to the back of his head which indicated he was hit with a hard object.

The other unidentified victim died on the spot after two assailants shot him at 11:30 p.m. Sunday.

The shooting incident happened at the corner of V.V. Soliven St. and Commonwealth Ave. in Barangay Commonwealth.

Monsalve described the man as between 34 to 40 years old, fair skinned, of medium built and 5’2” to 5’5” in height.

The victim also sported a tattoo of the word “Rose” on his left chest and wore a white shirt, cream-colored shorts, and a white ball cap.

A witness told police that two assailants armed with pistols had chased the suspect along V.V. Soliven St. on Sunday night.

Upon reaching Commonwealth Ave., the witness saw the victim fall after hearing three gunshots. The assailants then fired two more shots at the victim who was already sprawled on the street.

The witness reported the incident to barangay officials, who arrived on the scene to find the victim dead.
