Suspected marijuana pusher nabbed in Iligan City buy-bust

ILIGAN CITY-Police authorities arrested in Barangay Pala-o here a suspected marijuana pusher during a buy-bust operation on Tuesday evening.

Senior Inspector Jasper Ian Pasco, chief of Iligan City Police Office’s Station 5, on Wednesday identified the suspect as Sebastien Zeus Redila, 25, single, and a resident of the said village.

During the buy-bust, Redila allegedly handed a medium-sized plastic packet containing dried marijuana leaves to a poseur-buyer.

When frisked after the transaction, policemen recovered the marked money from his possession, Pasco said.

A further search of his house yielded more plastic packets containing dried marijuana leaves, Pasco added.

He said Redila was a newly identified drug personality in the area.

The suspect was now being temporarily detained at the holding cell of Station 5 while charges for violation of Republic Act No. 9165 was being prepared against him./lb
