Fire hits another Davao City mall

DAVAO CITY – An overheated air-conditioning unit triggered a small fire in another mall here Tuesday, authorities said.

Sr. Insp. Ma. Teresita Gaspan, the city police spokesperson, said the incident took place at Robinson’s Cybergate in Bajada area.

She said the fire took place around 3 a.m. when the mall was still closed, and was promptly controlled.            /kga
