The taxi driver slapped by a female motorist in a road rage incident filed charges before the Quezon City Prosecutor’s Office on Tuesday against the woman he accused of attacking him, radio reports said.
At around 10:40 a.m., Virgilio Doctor arrived at the QC Prosecutor’s Office and filed charges of slight physical injury, unjust vexation and malicious mischief against the woman identified as Cherish Interior, 31, Radyo Inquirer and radio dzBB reported.
In a viral video posted on Facebook over the weekend, the 52-year-old driver allegedly had a traffic altercation with a woman along Congressional Avenue, Quezon City.
The video showed the woman took a golf club and hit the taxi being driven by Doctor. The woman was allegedly asking the driver to step down. But when the driver opened the door, the woman slapped him. /jpv
