Farmer gunned down in Occidental Mindoro
CITY OF CALAPAN – A farmer was shot dead in Rizal town in Occidental Mindoro, police said Tuesday.
Police said Mark Anthony Trambulo, 21, died instantly from three bullet wounds, one on his lower right eye, after an unidentified gunman shot him in Sitio (sub-village) Lumintao in Barangay (village) Malawaan at about 6:20 p.m. Monday.

A police report said Trambulo was walking with his brother Gilbert Jr. some 30 meters away from their house when the incident happened.
The gunman fled on a motorcycle driven by an accomplice towards Calintaan town.
Police have launched a manhunt for the suspects while an investigation is ongoing. /cbb
