NLEX Corp. issues travel advisory affecting 2 expressways

Motorists who are scheduled to traverse the North Luzon Expressway (NLEX) and Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway (SCTEX) on Sunday morning will experience a brief traffic interruption.

In a travel advisory issued on Saturday, the NLEX Corp. is informing motorists of the scheduled dry run for the convoys of the visiting diplomats who will be attending the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (Asean) Leaders’ Summit.

The NLEX Corp. said the traffic flow will be temporarily stopped to allow the convoys to pass along the NLEX and SCTEX.

The NLEX Corp. added the third convoy dry-run for the Summit will be conducted early morning on Sunday and will affect the southbound portion of the NLEX and from Clark to Balintawak.

The Asean Leaders Summit will be held at Clark, Pampanga on November 10. /jpv
