Man facing drug charge shot dead in Pangasinan

DAGUPAN CITY — A 35-year-old man, who was charged for drug possession, was shot dead Monday night inside his house in Asingan town in Pangasinan province.

Aristotle Cabada Doria was watching television with his partner in the living room when three men broke into their home and attacked him at Barangay Domanpot at 8:15 p.m., said PO1 Albert Gomez, Asingan police investigator.

Doria died from multiple gunshot wounds. His attackers fled on two motorcycles.

Gomez said Doria was jailed for drug possession in August 2016 in Urdaneta City. He was freed after posting bail in March this year.

Investigators found spent cartridges and two sachets of suspected shabu (methamphetamine hydrochloride) at the crime scene. CBB
