DAGUPAN CITY—The body of a fish cage caretaker was found floating in the waters off Barangay Lucero in Bolinao town in Pangasinan province on Monday night (Sept. 4).

Police investigators said Randy Calisaan, 45, may have drowned after falling into the water separating Santiago island and the mainland of Bolinao after having drinks with two other caretakers on the night of Sept. 2.

Chief Insp. Joseph Mark Sibayan, Bolinao police chief, said there was no signs of foul play while empty bottles of gin were found in the place where the victim and his friends were last seen.

“There were only three of them and they finished four bottles of gin,” said Sibayan in a telephone interview.
