CDN starts bid in MCBA hoop

AFTER PLAYING a series of exhibition games, the Cebu Daily News (CDN) Siloys embark on a more serious business as they make their debut in the Mabolo Community Basketball Association (MCBA)  whose 2011 season gets underway today at the Mabolo Sports Complex.

The Brian Ochoa-coached Siloys tackle TV-5 Kapatid at 8 a.m. right after the 7:30 a.m. opening ceremonies.

The second game will feature an exhibition game between the Cebu City Mayor Michael Rama-led Rama Boys and MCBA Team A.

The main game pits RGMA-Kapuso and MCBA Team B.

Aside from CDN, RGMA, TV-5, MCBA-Team A and MCBA-Team, the tournament will also have MCBA-Team C and the Cebu Catholic Television Network (CCTN).

The Siloys are composed of Edouard Illut, Neil Tecson, Atoy  Lagunay, Johann Juntilla, Jay Labra, Lyndon Isles, team skipper Calvin Cordova, Ador Mayol, Sonny Caruana, Lito Tecson, Dale Rosal, Johnny Tabuco, Reynald Tiro, Sammy Yncierto and Jonas Panerio.
