The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority  was created on March 1, 1995, under  Republic Act No. 7924. The MMDA assists  the 17 political units in Metro Manila in crafting and implementing plans concerning transport decongestion, climate change, waste management and disaster prevention. The MMDA building is located on Edsa corner Orense Street in Guadalupe, Makati City. — Marielle Medina, Inquirer Research
