Teen boy nabbed for raping sister in Quirino

CITY OF ILAGAN—A 17-year-old boy was arrested on Thursday for allegedly raping his younger sister in Saguday, Quirino province.

The girl had not immediately reported the rape that took place in September 2013 and January 2014, fearful it would anger her brother.

The teenager was placed under the custody of the local social welfare office and may be charged for the sexual abuse of a minor. RAM/rga
