15 Pasig homes lost in three-hour fire

At least 15 houses were destroyed in a fire that broke out in a Barangay Pineda, Pasig City, on Tuesday afternoon.

The city fire department said it started around 1:13 p.m. at the house owned by Rodrigo Balmares on Everlasting Street.

The house did not have electricity and was relying only on a kerosene lamp for lighting, according to the initial investigation.

No one was reported hurt in the three-hour fire. —Jodee A. Agoncillo
