Pasay barangay councilor linked to drugs shot dead

A barangay councilor suspected of being a drug pusher was shot dead outside her Pasay City home on Monday night.

Her nephew, also a barangay councilor, was wounded in the head by a stray bullet, according to the police.

Susan Lim, a resident of Decena Street, Barangay 94, Zone 11, was a known drug pusher in the community, the police added.

The 50-year-old Lim was preparing suman (glutinous rice cake) to be sold the next day when three men on a motorcycle arrived at the compound where she lived around 10:45 p.m.

One of the men shot Lim repeatedly, while a stray bullet grazed the head of her nephew Robert Leeroy Lim, 26, who was standing near her.
