Suspended cop nabbed for shabu in Zambales

SUBIC, Zambales, Philippines — A suspended policeman was arrested for selling shabu to a police undercover agent in Masinloc town on Saturday.

PO1 Marco Almario, 40, fell in a buy-bust operation in Barangay South Poblacion, said Senior Insp. Christopher Mateo, director of the Zambales Provincial Police Office.

Almario was also held for possession of an unlicensed firearm and ammunition.

Police seized from the suspect two plastic sachets of alleged shabu, marked money, an Armscor caliber-45 pistol, and two magazines loaded with 15 bullets.

Almario was slapped with a six-month suspension on Aug. 21 for grave misconduct. CBB
