Contrary to her claim that she was just visiting her boyfriend Emilio Lim, FM radio DJ Karen Bordador was the one who took the ecstasy pills from a suitcase, gave them to Lim, who then handed them to an undercover policeman, based on the account of the arresting officers.

These details emerged on Monday as the police filed a complaint in the Pasig City Prosecutor’s Office against Bordador and Lim. The latter was reportedly a supplier of “party drugs” in upscale clubs in Taguig, Makati and Pasay.

The couple tested positive for drug use, according to antinarcotics operatives. They underwent inquest proceedings for conspiracy, possession and sale of illegal drugs.

“No comment,” Bordador told the Inquirer when asked to comment on the charges against her.

Both were arrested on Saturday afternoon during a buy-bust operation in a unit of the Skyway Condo on Henry Javier St., Barangay Orambo in Pasig City.

The police recovered an assortment of ecstasy pills, flavored marijuana dried leaves, and marijuana resin (oil) estimated to be worth P2.5 million, said Chief Insp. Willy Sangel of the Southern Police District’s Anti-Illegal Drugs Special Operations Task Group.

The operation against Lim was an offshoot of the arrest of Evan Reanald Baylon in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City, who identified his supplier.

An undercover policeman contacted Lim and arranged to buy 100 ecstasy tablets worth P100,000. He was instructed to follow Lim to his condo unit where he and Bordador were waiting.
