Campaign vs dengue widened

Fourth graders aged 9 years old and above in public elementary schools in Central Visayas will also now benefit from the dengue immunization campaign of the Department of Health (DOH).

As it marked the annual celebration of Asean Dengue Day in the country, the DOH on Wednesday announced the expansion of the dengue school-based immunization in the Philippines.

Region 7 ranks the fourth with highest number of reported dengue cases since Jan. 1.

On April 4,  the DOH started the administration of dengue vaccines to Grade 4 pupils aged 9 years old.
