Wife seeks to take over post of Guimaras congressman Nava

ILOILO CITY, Philippines — The wife of third-termer Guimaras Rep. Joaquin Carlos Rahman Nava is running for her husband’s post.

Dr. Ma. Lucille Nava filed her certificate of candidacy (CoC) before the Commission on Elections provincial office Thursdaymorning.

She is running under the ruling Liberal Party with re-electionist Gov. Samuel Gumarin and provincial board member John Edward Gando, who is running for vice governor.

Candidates of the United Nationalist Alliance are expected to file their CoCs on Friday.
