The 32-year-old Thai national who bashed Filipinos on a Facebook page has left the country after he opted for voluntary deportation.

Prasertsi Kosin, who used the alias “Koko Narak” when he posted derogatory and racist remarks against Filipinos, boarded a Thai Airways flight which left for Thailand on May 8 around 8 p.m.

In a statement, Bureau of Immigration spokesperson Elaine Tan said that “Kosin was deported by virtue of a voluntary deportation order signed by the board of commissioners in its meeting on Thursday (May 7).”

This was after the National Bureau of Investigation verified that Kosin had neither a criminal record nor a pending case filed against him.

Kosin, who arrived in the country in May 2014, was charged with being an undesirable alien.

According to the immigration charge sheet, the Thai national posted racially offensive comments in his Facebook account, branding Filipinos as “stupid creatures,” “Pignoys,” “low-class slum slaves” and “useless race on this world.”

“Prasertsi’s contemptuous act and maligning remarks against Filipinos constitute undesirability and his presence poses a risk to public interest,” Special Prosecutor Gemma Armi de la Cruz concluded.

The foreigner did not contest the charge and opted for voluntary deportation.  Kosin also wrote an apology addressed to all Filipinos, saying, “I’m very sorry for what I’ve done to break your heart by posting the racist remarks on my personal Facebook and Asean community page.”

He further expressed hope that he would be allowed to return to the country to visit his “Filipino friends.”

However, Immigration Commissioner Siegfred Mison ordered that Kosin be included in the watch list with the notation that he was charged as an undesirable for uttering racist remarks against Filipinos.
