MYSTERY shrouds the discovery of the bodies of three women inside a burned house in an exclusive village in Parañaque City Thursday morning.

Bureau of Fire Protection personnel (BFP) responded to a fire that hit a bungalow on Thomas Street, Multinational Village, Barangay Moonwalk, Parañaque City, at about 12 a.m.

After the blaze, firefighters found the bodies of three women inside one of the bedrooms of the house. The victims were later described as a mother, 30, her daughter, 15, and their house helper.

The victims were initially believed to be victims of the blaze.

However, further investigation puzzled probers after they found blood stains inside the house and probable head injuries on the victims, a report of radio dzMM said.

Citing probers, the report said the three women were found inside the helper’s room, which was just across that of the mother and daughter.

The body of the helper was on the bed while the bodies of the mother and daughter were on the floor.

Blood stains were found in the living room from which a streak of blood led to the body of the girl, who was apparently dragged to the helper’s room.

Reports said police Scene of the Crime Operatives, or SOCO, were looking deeper into the victims’ injuries to find out if these were caused by blows from a blunt object, stabbings or gunshots.

Investigators have reportedly found spent bullet shells inside the house.

It was still unclear if a robbery had taken place.

Initial information showed that only the three victims lived in the house. The mother reportedly had long been separated with her husband. CB
