Fire hits residential area near PNP headquarters

MANILA, Philippines–A fire gutted a residential area in Barangay (village) West Crame in San Juan City, a stone’s throw from the Philippine National Police headquarters in Quezon City.

The houses being razed by fire were said to be some 30 meters away from the back gate of Camp Crame.

The fire, which broke out shortly before 5 p.m., reached third alarm as of posting time.
