Security guard shot dead in Makati

MANILA, Philippines—A security guard was shot dead Friday afternoon in Makati City, police said.
The victim identified as Valentin Gabasa Balasa, was shot to his head by a still unidentified assailant along Pasong Tamo corner Dela Rosa Street, the Makati police said.

Police said the victim was buying a cigarette in a nearby store when he was shot two times by the assailant.
