Board exams for teachers, physicians, sanitary engineers reset, says Baldoz

MANILA, Philippines—The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) has rescheduled the Board Licensure Examinations for Professional Teachers (BLEPT), Physicians (BLEP), and Sanitary Engineers (BLESE) which were originally scheduled in July and August this year, Labor Secretary Rosalinda Baldoz  announced Thursday.

The recent centennial celebration of the Iglesia Ni Cristo held last Sunday  prompted the PRC to reschedule the examinations, Baldoz said.

The new dates of exams and their corresponding deadlines for filing of application were scheduled as follows:

  • For professional teachers, the examinations will be August 17, 2014, with the deadline for the filing of application to take the examinations on June 14, 2014.
  • For physicians, the examinations,  originally scheduled on  August 16, 17, 23, 24, have  been moved to August  23, 24, 30, 31 2014, with the deadline to file the application on August 1, 2014.
  • For sanitary engineers, the examinations, which were originally scheduled on  August 12, 13, 14 have been re-scheduled for August 26, 27, 28 2014, with the deadline on August 6, 2014.
