LPA northeast of Eastern Samar makes summer heat tolerable

MANILA, Philippines—”Domeng,” which has dissipated into a low pressure area, is tempering the summer heat and was spotted 140 kilometers northeast of Guiuan, Eastern Samar, the state weather bureau said early Monday.

In its bulletin issued at 5 a.m., the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical
Services Administration said the Bicol Region, Mimaropa, Eastern and Central Visayas, and Mindanao will have cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms occurring in the afternoon or evening.
