PDEA agent slain

SORSOGON CITY. Philippines—An agent of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) was shot dead by still unidentified men on Saturday.

PDEA agent Arnel Estrellado was shot five times in different parts of his body by two motorcycle-riding men in Barangay (village) Tugos, police said.

He died shortly after arrival at Sorsogon Doctors Hospital in the city, police said. Police said his killing might have been work-related.—Shiena M. Barrameda, Inquirer Southern Luzon
