Aquino stops pork barrel fund distribution – radio reports

MANILA, Philippines – President Benigno Aquino III on Tuesday suspended the distribution of the pork barrel funds, radio reports said.

Radio reports cited no reason why the allocation of the second part of the funds was put on hold, but Aquino’s move came amid mounting public pressure to scrap the scandal-tainted funds.
