The deadline for the filing of application in the division offices is Nov. 4.

Education Secretary Armin Luistro said the test was a way of determining who would “perform their functions professionally” as heads of schools in the public basic education system.

“It is important that our school heads go through a strict screening process [so that] we only get the best educators in our bureaucracy,” Luistro said.
