The Quezon City government will hold its regular blood-letting activity on Monday to encourage people to donate blood for patients afflicted with dengue in public hospitals.

City health officer Dr. Antonieta Inumerable said the health department will set up booths for blood donations at the Quezon City Hall lobby.

“We have been regularly doing this as this is a monthly affair. But for August, our blood-letting activity will focus on collecting blood for our dengue patients,” she said.
