School bus driver hurt in. QC shooting

MANILA, Philippines–A school service driver was injured following a shooting incident in Quezon City early Thursday, police said.

Senior Police Officer 2 Robergt Cailes of the Quezon City Police District-Station 9, said Philippine Science High School driver Joseph Auman, 49, was injured when still unidentified suspects opened fire along Commonwealth Avenue corner Ilanan Street, Barangay (village) UP Campus around 7:30 a.m.

The students off the bus have been dropped off.

He said Auman sustained three gunshot wounds and was  rushed to East Avenue Medical Center.

The vehicle (UVP 765) had five bullet holes.

No other information was available as of posting time.
