12 senators to be proclaimed Wednesday—Brillantes

MANILA, Philippines – Commission on Elections (Comelec) Chairman Sixto Brillantes on Tuesday said they expected to proclaim all the 12 senators at 7 p.m. Wednesday or exactly 48 hours after the elections.

“Tomorrow [Wednesday] at 7 p.m., exactly 48 hours, we expect to proclaim the 12 Senators,” he told a press conference,” Brillantes said.

The Comelec en banc, sitting as National Board of Canvassers (NBOC), reconvened Tuesday morning to begin the tally of election results.
