Cynthia Villar sees El Shaddai support for her and 2 other admin bets

MAMBUSAO, Capiz, Philippines—The Catholic charismatic group El Shaddai is expected to support six senatorial candidates, former Las Pinas Representative Cynthia Villar, an administration candidate,  told reporters here Wednesday.

Villar said the Team PNoy candidates that will be endorsed by Mike Velarde’s group include herself  and re-electionists Sen. Aquilino Pimentel III and Senator Antonio Trillanes IV.

The group was expected to formalize the announcement later Wednesday afternoon.

Villar did not say which United Nationalist Alliance candidates El Shaddai would support but unconfirmed reports earlier indicated they would include Sen. Gregorio Honasan, Zambales Representative Mitos Magsaysay and San Juan Representative JV Ejercito.
