MANILA, Philippines — Mindanao and Visayas will experience light to moderate rains due to a low pressure area in General Santos City, the state weather bureau said Wednesday.

“The regions of Caraga, Davao,SOCCSKSARGEN, Northern Mindanao and Eastern Visayas will experience cloudy skies with moderate to heavy rainshowers and thunderstorms which may trigger flashfloods and landslides. The rest of Mindanao and Visayas will have cloudy skies with light to moderate rainshowers or thunderstorms,” Pagasa said.

Meanwhile, northeast monsoon will continue affecting Luzon.

“Metro Manila, Bicol Region, Cagayan Valley, CALABARZON and the provinces of Aurora and Quezon will be cloudy with light rains. The rest of the country will have partly cloudy skies with brief light rains,” it added.

Moderate to strong winds blowing from the northeast will prevail throughout the archipelago and the coastal waters will be moderate to rough.
