LEB to install law profs’ hall of fame

The Legal Education Board, in partnership with the Philippine Association of Law Schools and the Ateneo Law School, will present the Ten Outstanding Senior Professors of Law and their installation in the Law Professors Hall of Fame on Nov. 19, 5 p.m., at Tanghalang Aurelio Tolentino (Little Theater) of the Cultural Center of Philippines in Pasay City.

They honorees are Justice Florenz Regalado, Justice Isagani Cruz, Justice Vicente Mendoza, former Sen. Jovito Salonga, Justice Jose Vitug, Justice Oscar Herrera Sr., Father Joaquin Bernas S. J., Chief Justice Andres Navasa, Justice Lorenzo Relova and Justice Ricardo Puno Sr.

Posthumously honored are the Ten Deceased Outstanding Professors of Law, namely Justice Vicente Abad Santos, Justice Jose Feria Sr., Justice Desiderio Jurado, Justice Conrado  Vasquez Sr., Justice Edgardo Paras, Senator Lorenzo Tañada Sr., Dean Rodolfo Palma, Dean Pompeyo Diaz, Justice Jose Reyes and Justice Irene Cortes.
