Philsan run slated Sept. 16

THE PHILIPPINE Society of Animal Nutritionists (Philsan) Visayas-Mindanao Chapter in cooperation with the  Central Visayas Pork Producers Cooperative (Cevvipco) will hold a fun run on Sept. 16 starting at  Ayala Center Cebu’s The Terraces.

The race, which carries the theme “We love our local meat,” aims to support the local meat industry players and promote awareness to consumers. According to Edna  Magbojos, president of Philsan, the  fun run will be for a cause as it hopes to stop the smuggling of  meat.

Categories in this fun run are 3k, 5k, 15k and 25k. Registration fee is pegged at P300 for the 3k, P350 for the 5k, P550 for the 15k and P700 for the 25k.

Registration is ongoing until Sept. 13 at the RUNNR Ayala Center Cebu and at the Cebu City Sports Center. /Intern Agnes Enguito
