Work, classes suspended Friday in Taguig City

MANILA, Philippines—The local government of Taguig announced the suspension of work for all city hall employees on Friday.
The announcement was made on the Taguig City government official Twitter account, @iloveTaguig1, on the orders of Mayor Lani Cayetano.
However, employees involved in calamity response and relief efforts are exempted.
Taguig also suspended classes at all levels in private and public schools in the city.
