SC suspends work in all Metro Manila courts

MANILA, Philippines—Acting Supreme Court Chief Justice Antonio Carpio on Wednesday suspended work in all courts in the National Capital Region for Thursday due to bad weather and flooding.
The suspension also covers the Supreme Court, Court of Appeals, Court of Tax Appeals and the Sandiganbayan.
In the provinces, declaration of suspension is upon the discretion of the executive judge.
High Court special en banc session was reset to Friday at 9:30am.
