1T people to benefit from Camotes medical mission

AT least 1,000 residents in Poro, Camotes Island, Cebu are expected to benefit from the free medical and dental mission of the Rotary Club of Metro (RCMC) on May 19-20.

Dr. Neil Camunggol, RCMC president, said the annual Camotes medical mission is supported by Takeshi Shimizu of Japan, who also supports scholarships for the needy youth of Camotes.

Dr. Wyben Briones, past president of RCMC and Camotes medical mission chairman, said more than 50 volunteers composed of doctors, dentists, nurses, rotarians from RCMC and rotaractors will join the activity.

RCMC secretary Romy Ballesteros said the medical mission is also supported by the municipality of Poro.
