Swede killed in Sta. Fe road accident
A Swedish national was killed after his motorcycle was rammed from behind by another motorcycle in barangay Pooc, Sta. Fe town, northern Cebu.
Peter Stevenson, who was married to a Cebuana, suffered head injuries after he was thrown off the motorcycle.
Police said Stevenson was driving a Honda Wave with plate number YQ-8644 on his way home last Thursday afternoon.
The foreigner was about to turn left on his way to the gate of his house when a motorcycle hit him from behind.
The impact threw Stevenson to the ground.
The driver of the other motorcycle, Rodulfo Alaba, was arrested after the accident. He will be charged with reckless driving resulting to homicide, said police.
Stevenson was brought to the Bantayan District Hospital then transferred to the Chong Hua Hospital in Cebu City.
